Haskel Ray “Hack” Jameson, 77, Cave City
Haskel Ray “Hack” Jameson, 77, of Cave City died Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2022, at T.J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow.
Hack was born in Barren County on Feb. 28, 1945, a son of the late Leon Jack and Mary Crabtree Jameson. He graduated from Park City High School in 1963 and married Sandra “Sandy” Key on Nov. 8, 1964. Hack was owner and operator of C & J Auto Sales, and, after retiring, he worked part time for Wyatt Distributing at Walmart. He was a member of Cave City Baptist Church and enjoyed fishing with his buddies, Jackie Coop and Cameron Adwell.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Jeana Jameson of Cave City; one grandson, Keylan Bailey; a sister, Diane Stewart, and her husband Barry; a sister-in-law, Diane Crabtree; a special niece, Pam Waters, and her husband Tony; a special great-nephew Spencer Waters; and another niece and one nephew.
In addition to his parents, Leon Jack and Mary Crabtree Jameson, he was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Talmage Crabtree.
Funeral services are at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 19, 2022, at Cave City Baptist Church, with burial in Cave City Cemetery. Visitation is fro 2 to 8 p.m. Friday at Bob Hunt Funeral Chapel and from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the church.

Samuel Bragg Judd, 74, Cave City
Samuel Bragg Judd, 74, of Cave City died Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2022, at his residence. He was born Oct. 15, 1948, in Glasgow to the late Cecil Hugh Judd and Maggie Estelle Bragg Judd. Samuel worked for Swift and Company in Louisville as a packager and was a proud United States Army veteran. He fought in the Vietnam War and was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his girlfriend, Carolyn Poynter Judd; one brother, Charles Judd Sr.; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his former wife, Betty Phillips Judd; four brothers, Marshall, Eugene, Bobby, and Allen Judd; and one sister, Ruby Poynter.
A graveside service is at 1 p.m. Monday, Nov. 21, 2022, at Cave City Cemetery with military honors provided by DAV Chapter 20. A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.

Raymond Odell Poynter, 65, Haywood
Raymond Odell Poynter, 65, of Haywood died Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2022, after a sudden illness. He was a member of Servant Valley Baptist Church in Cave City. Raymond was the first born to parents, Roy Poynter Jr. and Virginia Newton Poynter, who preceded him in death. He was a Kentucky Colonel, a former paramedic with the Barren-Metcalfe Emergency Medical Services, and he worked at the Glasgow Fire Department and Haywood and Cave City volunteer fire departments. Raymond enjoyed hunting, fishing and working on numerous projects, as he was a jack of all trades.
He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Janice Abston Poynter; three children, Randy Poynter of Georgia, Glenda Poynter (Alicia) of Glasgow and Sherry Burrell of Center; seven grandchildren, Destiny, Hailey, Lydia, Jaylob, Elizabeth, Lynlee and Gage; three great-grandchildren; one brother, Kelly Poynter (Joyce) of Cave City; one sister, Kathy Sue Peden of Cave City; several nieces and nephews; one sister-in-law, Wanda Pursley (Harold); and one brother-in-law, Danny Abston (Shelli).
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother-in-law, Donnie Peden; one nephew, C. Justin Abston; and father- and mother-in-law, William Alton and Alta Sheffield Abston.
Funeral service is at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 21, 2022, at A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home, with burial in Shiloh Cemetery. Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday and until time for the service Monday at the funeral home.
