Park City Mayor Larry Poteet administered the oath of office to three of the four city commissioners Thursday at Park City City Hall for their terms beginning Jan. 1. Angelo Scavo, Donna Scavo and Mike Burgess are all returning members of the commission. Poteet said he plans to swear in the new commission member, Gary Carroll, who was out of town Thursday on Friday. Donna Scavo then swore in Poteet.

Both Donna Scavo and Poteet are notary publics, which are authorized to administer the oath per state law.
The ceremony had been planned for Dec. 23, but the weather interfered with that, and other issues arose to change the plan again this week, so they decided to go ahead and do it this way.
Although City Hall is closed Friday and Monday for the New Year’s holiday, Monday’s regularly scheduled commission meeting is still going to take place, Poteet said.
