At the historic Plaza Theatre in downtown Glasgow, laughs are expected to be plentiful Saturday during comedian Jon Reep’s appearance there.
The event is being presented by Helping the Hardworking LLC. The comedy night is part of a series of events sponsored by the nonprofit organization to raise funds for their charitable causes.
Reep is an American comedian and actor who started his career in 2004 doing Dodge commercials.
From 2004 to 2006, he played Police Officer Gerald Bob in “Rodney,” an ABC Sitcom.
He also starred in the fifth season of Last Comic Standing.
Reep can currently be seen in Netflix’s “Brad Paisley’s Comedy Rodeo” and his new stand-up special on Amazon Prime “Ginger Beard Man.” Jon’s hourlong stand-up special “Jon Reep: Metro Jethro” and his half hour stand-up special both aired on Comedy Central.
Jon is also host of the popular podcast “Country-ish” on Bill Burr and Al Madrigal’s All Things Comedy digital platform.
