BCEA hosting training on TIF districts

The Barren County Economic Authority provided formal notice Monday morning that it is hosting a joint training session for BCEA’s board of directors, the Glasgow Common Council and the Barren County Fiscal Court.
The training to gain information and knowledge of tax increment financing districts is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. Friday at the BCEA Offices at 126 E. Public Square, Suite 101.
James E. Parsons, senior consultant with KMK Consulting Co. is to conduct the informational session. Parsons practices in the areas of public law, public finance and tax incentives for business development, including tax increment financing for development projects.
