The Glasgow Board of Adjustment agenda for Tuesday evening includes public hearings for two conditional-use permit applications for properties proposed as airbnb/Vrbo rental homes.
One of those is at 221 Garmon Ave.; the other is at 204 Morningside Drive.
Also during its meeting Tuesday, the board is to consider a variance application of 11 feet to the 20-foot rear-yard setback requirement for the property at 1 YMCA Way, per Section 158.180(B)(2) of the Glasgow Zoning Ordinance.
Glasgow Board of Adjustment meetings are normally on the third Monday of the month, but when they fall on a holiday – Presidents Day, in this case – they are moved to the following day. This one begins at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, with the public hearings set to begin at 6 p.m.; it takes place in Council Chambers in Glasgow City Hall, 126 E. Public Square.
Questions should be directed to the staff of the Joint City-County Planning Commission of Barren County, offices for which are in Glasgow City Hall, at (270) 659-0661.

This house at 221 Garmon Ave. in Glasgow is one of two for which their respective owners have applied for a conditional-use permit to be able to rent the property through services such as airbnb and Vrbo. A public hearing with the Glasgow Board of Adjustment on the matter is scheduled for 6 p.m. Tuesday. MELINDA J. OVERSTREET / GLASGOW NEWS 1
