Ruth Ellen Woodcock Bertram, 65, Park City
Ruth Ellen Woodcock Bertram, 65, of Park City died Thursday, March 2, 2023, at T.J. Samson Community Hospital. A native of Barren County, she was a daughter of the late Edward Jack Woodcock and Christine Jesse Woodcock. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include four children, Charlie Bertram, Alton Bruce Lewis, William Bertram and Sandra Hull; one sister, Judy Winchester; seven grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Bertram; one daughter, Tonya Lewis; one sister, Lois Chapman; and one brother, Roy Woodcock.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home, with cremation to follow.

Sheryl Denise Emberton, 59, of Glasgow died suddenly Thursday, March 2, 2023, in Glasgow. A native of Barren County, she was the daughter of Gilbert Wayne Emberton and Glenda Thomas Emberton. She loved doing crafts and engaging in photography. She attended the Bethesda Church of God.
Survivors include her parents, Gilbert and Glenda Emberton; one sister, Kimberly Emberton of Rutledge, Tennessee; one niece, Alayna Wardroup of Knoxville; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral service is at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home, with burial in Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday and continues Tuesday morning at the funeral home.
Brittany Jovan Shugart, 34, Glasgow
Brittany Jovan Shugart, 34, of Glasgow died Thursday, March 2, 2023, in Glasgow. A native of Barren County, she was a factory worker and a member of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include two sons: Kobyn Shugart and Dylan Neal; her mother, Tina Shugart (Robert Burton); her father, Kevin Shugart; one brother, Terry Lyons; one stepbrother, Robert Burton III; one stepsister, Robin Leeann Burton; her maternal grandmother, Sandra Davis; her maternal grandfather, Ed Davis; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Larry Shugart and Mary Shugart.
Funeral service is at 2 p.m. Monday at Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home, with burial in Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation begins at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
