Danny Melloan, 71, of Edmonton died Sunday, March 5, 2023, at T.J. Samson Community Hospital. Born Feb. 19, 1952, he was a native of Hart County and resided in Edmonton. He was a member of Riverside Baptist Church in Greensburg. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Birdie Melloan; one sister, Maxine Reynolds; and two brothers, Jerry Melloan and Dale Melloan.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Marilyn Melloan; two daughters, Christy Melloan Woosley (Brian) and Tammy McDowell (Andy); one stepson, Daniel Gilley (Erin); four grandchildren, Chasity Zabala, Austin Woosley, Sarah Gilley and Rebekah Gilley; three great-grandchildren, Jaxon Gibson, and Ryker and Rhett Zabala; and one brother, Kenneth Melloan.
Funeral service is at 1 p.m. Friday, March 10, 2023, at Winn Funeral Home, with burial in Horse Cave Municipal Cemetery. Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
