UPDATE: Man arrested in connection with second Adams Place shooting

On Thursday, the Glasgow Police Department was dispatched to Adams Place in reference to a
shooting complaint.

Upon arrival, officers located an adult female inside of an apartment who had been shot in the arm. She
was transported by the Barren-Metcalfe Emergency Medical Services to T.J. Samson Community Hospital for her injuries and was later flown to Vanderbilt Hospital for further treatment.
After further investigation, officers determined that John T. Hill of Glasgow had shot the woman in the arm. Officers were able to locate the weapon and confirmed it to be stolen from Bowling Green.
Hill was arrested and charged with first-degree assault, domestic violence; possession of handgun by a convicted felon; and receiving stolen property (firearm). He was lodged at the Barren County Detention Center, where he remained Friday morning.

Upon arrival, officers located a female who had been shot in the arm. She was transported by Barren-Metcalfe Emergency Medical Services to T.J. Samson Community Hospital for her injuries and was later flown to Vanderbilt Hospital for further treatment, according to a GPD press release, which added that the case remains under investigation.
This is the second report of a shooting along that street in barely more than a week.
This past Saturday, the Glasgow Police Department arrested a man in reference to a complaint three days earlier that a male subject that had fired several shots into a vehicle that was occupied. The vehicle that was occupied and hit left the scene prior to officers’ arrival; however, it was later confirmed that no one was injured during the altercation, according to a Monday press release.
Upon further investigation, detectives were able to determine that Kynarious J. Flynt of Glasgow was the person who had fired several rounds into the vehicle that was occupied by a male subject, that earlier press release stated.
Flynt remained lodged in the Barren County Detention Center on Thursday evening in lieu of a $50,000.00 bond, according to the jail website. He faces four counts of 1st-degree wanton endangerment.
