Roberta Bryant

Roberta Ann Bryant, 76, of Glasgow died suddenly Thursday, April 6, 2023, at the T.J. Samson Community Hospital. Born in Barren County on Nov. 10, 1946, she was a daughter of Blondell Nichols Tarry and the late Robert Tarry.
Roberta was a 1964 graduate of Temple Hill High School, where she was active in track and basketball, being once elected basketball homecoming queen. She loved her classmates and always looked forward to their reunions. She remained active in sports throughout her lifetime by bowling, playing softball and being an avid golfer. She also was a talented card player and had a love for horses. She worked many years at Mallory Capacitor and later served as bookkeeper at several businesses in Glasgow.
Roberta is survived by her son, Chris Eaton and his wife Shelia of Glasgow; her grandchildren whom she loved very much, Brooke, Murphy, Tanner, Madison and John David; her mother, Blondell Tarry of Glasgow; her sister, Christine Tarry Key of Temple Hill; her brother, Bud Tarry and wife Paula of Glasgow; her nieces, Terri Key Webb and Mirandi Tarry Huffman; her nephew, Barry Key; her great-nieces Maggie Webb, Kristen Key and Molly Webb; a great-nephew, C.J. Key; and a host of cousins whom she dearly loved.
She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Tarry, and a brother-in-law, J. B. Key.
Funeral service is at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home, with cremation to follow. Visitation is from noon to 6 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Richard Bailey Chenault, 86, Glasgow

Richard Bailey Chenault, 86, of Glasgow died Friday, April 7, 2023, at TriStar Greenview Regional Hospital in Bowling Green.
He was born Nov. 29, 1936, in Glasgow to the late Esta Chenault and Tippie Bailey Chenault. Richard was a truck driver for 33 years with Stewart Trucking and later retired from Overnight Trucking. He was a proud Army veteran and was a member of East Main United Methodist Church. In his younger years, Richard loved playing basketball at Temple Hill and bowling. He was a huge University of Kentucky basketball fan, he loved bass fishing, and he was the easiest person to buy gifts for.
Survivors include his two sons, Eric Chenault (Marna) and Barry McMillin; one daughter, Beth Griffin (Rod); several grandchildren and great grandchildren; one brother, James Chenault; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 38 years, Wilda Smith Chenault, and two sisters, Katherine Chenault and Ruth Jones.
Funeral is at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 11, 2023, at A.F Crow & Son Funeral Home, with burial in Bethlehem Cemetery in Monroe County. Visitation is from 2 to 8 p.m. Monday and on Tuesday morning until time for the service at the funeral home.

Russell Dale Huff Sr., 61, of Glasgow died Thursday, April 6, 2023, at T.J. Samson Community Hospital. He was a son of the late Rufus Taylor and Nellie Mae Pedigo Huff.
He is survived by his wife, Wanda Ann Lynn Huff; four children, Ashley Payne (Josh), Russell Dale Huff Jr. (Maggie Gail), William Joe Juff (Mary Rena Willis) and Vickie Lynn Huff; five grandchildren, Destiny Marie Depp, Hunter Cole Payne, Aidean Alexander, DeAndre Alexander and Faith Rose Depp, plus one grandchild due in October; two stepgrandchildren, Jay York and Waylon York; three brothers, Larry Wayne Huff, Michael Wayne Huff and James Alfred Huff.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by several siblings.
Funeral is at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 12, 2023, at Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home, with burial in Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation is from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Regina Ann ‘Ginabell’ Wood, 59, Brownsville

Regina Ann “Ginabell” Wood, 59, of Brownsville died at 6:29 a.m. Friday, April 7, 2023, at The Medical Center at Bowling Green.
The Edmonson County native was a homemaker and a former Glasgow Carhartt employee. She attended Edmonson County High School and graduated from Caverna High School in 1981, and she was a member of Fairview United Baptist Church. She was a daughter of the late Willard Sanders and Verna Crain Sanders. She was preceded in death by a half brother, Norman Sanders.
Surviving are her husband, Ronnie Wood; three sons, Kyle Culbreth (Nikki) and Corey Culbreth (Paige), both of Sweeden, and Brandon Wood (Chelsea) of Columbia; five sisters, Zelma Wilson of Brownsville, Sandy Ashley and Carla Decker (Richard) both of Chalybeate, Paula Meredith (Paul) of Rocky Hill and Wanda Kay Ray (James) of Segal; five grandchildren, Grayson Wood, Addison Wood, Livi Culbreth, Ellie Culbreth and one on the way; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service is at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Gravil Funeral Home, with burial in Center Point Cemetery in Hart County. Visitation is from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday and after 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
