Glasgow man arrested after nonfatal shooting

The Glasgow Police Department is investigating a shooting incident that occurred last week, it announced over the weekend.
Glasgow Police detectives responded Thursday to Greenview Regional Hospital Emergency Room in Bowling Green after the victim arrived there for treatment of a gunshot wound.
Detectives determined that an altercation had taken place at a residence along Woodlawn Street, and a person had been shot in the left leg area.
That person was treated and released from the hospital.
Cedrick R. Moore, 42, of Glasgow was arrested and charged with first-degree assault, domestic violence; possession of a firearm by convicted felon; first-degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine); and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Moore remained lodged in the Barren County Detention Center on Monday morning in lieu of a $100,000 cash bond.
The Bowling Green Police Department, Barren County Sheriff’s Office and the Barren River Drug Task Force, have assisted with the investigation, which is ongoing.
