WKU recognizes scholars of its 5 colleges

ABBREVIATED PRESS RELEASE
Western Kentucky University’s five academic colleges recognized 46 scholars of the college during recognition ceremonies for the Class of 2023 on Friday. The scholar of the college is the baccalaureate degree student in each undergraduate college with the highest cumulative overall grade-point average and a minimum of 60 semester hours earned in residence; however, each college has more than one scholar.
The ones from Barren County are:
– Taylor Wilkinson of Glasgow is scholar of two colleges, the Potter College of Arts & Letters with a major in visual studies, and the Ogden College of Science and Engineering with a major in architectural science. Taylor is the spouse of Ramie Wilkinson and the daughter of Roy and Lisa Davidson.
– Billy Carver of Glasgow is a scholar of Ogden College of Science and Engineering with a major in biology. Billy is the son of Billy Carver and Emily Carver.
– Caitlyn Nunn of Cave City is a scholar of the College of Education and Behavioral Science with a major in psychology. Caitlyn is the daughter of Steve and Kristy Nunn.
