John Stanley Clark, 82, Bowling Green
John Stanley Clark, 82, of Bowling Green died Friday May 26, 2023, at Greenwood Nursing and Rehab in Bowling Green. John was born Dec. 10, 1940, to the late John Clark Sr. and the late Opal Clark. He was of the Baptist faith and was a proud Army veteran. He had a love for fishing and camping, where he could be in nature with his family.
He is survived by his stepsons, Eugene Craft (Treva) and Roger Craft; his stepdaughter, Wanda Meredith (Leo); and nephews, Harold Landrum and Johnny Landrum.
Besides his parents, John is preceded in death by his wife, Mae Ward Clark.
Funeral service is at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 30, 2023,, at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home, with graveside military honors by DAV Chapter 20 and burial at Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation is from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Dottie Linda Lake, 72, of Bowling Green, formerly of Glasgow, died Saturday, May 27, 2023, at The Medical Center at Bowling Green. She was born Aug. 16, 1950, to the late James Dennis and Dorothy Haynes Green. She was a retired accountant at Western Kentucky University and a member of First Baptist Church in Bowling Green.
She is survived by her husband, Gregory Lee Lake; one daughter, Karen Leah Lake; one son, Craig Lee Lake; one granddaughter, Carmyn Lake; one brother, James Robert “Robbie” Green and his wife Susan; five sisters, Emma Jean Bunch and her husband Darrell, Doris Jane Staples and her husband James, Phyllis Stephens and her husband Jimmy, Sue Morgan and her husband Freddy and Michelle Garmon; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral is at 11 a.m., Thursday, June 1, 2023, at Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home, with burial in Henderson Cemetery. Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Phillip C. Scott, 62, Hardyville

Phillip C. Scott, 62, of Hardyville died Friday, May 26, 2023, at his residence. A native of Allen County, he was a son of the late Henry and Evelyn Norris Scott. He was an OTR truck driver and farmer.
Survivors include his wife, Connie; one daughter, Carla Peterson (Mikey) of Glasgow; two grandchildren, Andrew Scott and Wyatt Rutledge; one brother, Mike Scott; two sisters, Betty (Lewis) and Lisa; several nieces and nephews, and some special other family members, Victoria Morgan, Elizabeth King, Charlotte Simmons and Sheila Ford.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one child, Heather Jo Scott; and three brothers, Steve, Henry and Ted Scott.
Funeral service is at 2 p.m. Sunday at Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home, with burial in Stephens Cemetery. Visitation begins at 5 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
