Glasgow Police Department to conduct checkpoints through June

The Glasgow Police Department will be conducting traffic safety checkpoints in the city limits of Glasgow during the period throughout June. The safety check points will be, but not limited to, Columbia Ave., W. Main St., N. Jackson Highway, and Happy Valley Road.
During the safety checkpoints officers will be enforcing laws related to operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of drugs or alcohol, licensing of motor vehicles and operators, registration and insurance violations, seat belt and child restraint violations, and motor vehicle equipment violations.
