Jason Owen, 49, of Bowling Green died peacefully Monday June 5, 2023, at Hospice of Southern Kentucky House. He was born Feb. 9, 1974, in Campbellsville to Ello and Ruth Owen.
He was a graduate of Glasgow High school and earned a master’s degree from Western Kentucky University.
Jason is survived by his mother, Ruth Harbison of Port Charlotte, Florida; his wife, Karol Owen, and bonus son, Brandon Rowe, both of Bowling Green; and his beloved blue nose pit bull, Craig.
Jason was passionate about music, especially the band Widespread Panic, and outdoor activities. He loved watching Brandon play basketball and watching the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Celebration of life is from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, June 9, 2023, at Cone Funeral Home
In lieu of flowers, contributions to Hospice of Southern Kentucky are requested.

Kenny Devon Wood, 60, of Horse Cave died Saturday, June 3, 2023, at his residence.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Odell Wood and Betty Jean Estes Wood, and two brothers, Micheal and William Wood.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Wood; sons Andraeus Curry, Jerriguez Howard, Avery Curry (Breanna) and Kenyon Wood; daughter, Kayla Wood; brother, Neal Wood; two sisters, Vickie Rogers and Laketa Wood; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral service is at noon Thursday, June 8, 2023, at Owens Chapel Baptist Church, with burial in Bearwallow Church Cemetery. Visitation is from 10 a.m. to noon Thursday at the church. Hayes Brothers Funeral Home Glasgow is entrusted with arrangements.
