Two events are scheduled for Thursday, July 27 on Glasgow Public Square and both put on by the Downtown Business Association of Glasgow.
“Sidewalk Sales” was an event previously hosted to showcase local businesses, and to offer the community a chance to enjoy the Summer. For some years this event has been on a hiatus, but this year it is slated to make it’s return. The event will feature all retail businesses located around the square such as Blue Shark Games and Hobbies, Roots and Ramble, Spring Valley Boutique and plenty of others. It will go on until Saturday evening.
The first-ever Jeep cruise-in will be later in the evening Thursday and will offer residents who own a Jeep to show it off. The event will take place on the east side of the square and will feature some late-night shopping, food and refreshments. The cruise-in will start at 5 p.m. and go until 8, which will partially close the square for it’s duration.
