William “Billy” Fant
William Nicholas “Billy” Fant, 71, of Glasgow died Wednesday, July 26, 2023, at T.J. Samson Community Hospital. Born Aug. 4, 1951, he was the son of the late John Davis Fant and Mary Rose Gagel Fant. He retired from National Wood Products and Dart Container.
He is survived by two sisters, Rosemary Elmore and Tina Haynes; one nephew, Nathaniel Haynes; three nieces, Myria Taylor Harris, Christie Pedigo and Ericka Wood; three great-nieces; nine great-nephews! four great-great-nieces; and four great-great-nephews.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Richard Barry Haynes.
Graveside service is at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, July 29, 2023, at Henderson Cemetery. Visitation is from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. Saturday at Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home.

Sally June Taylor, 68, of Glasgow died Wednesday, July 26, 2023, at her residence. A native of Barren County, she was the daughter of the late E.J. and Ella Mae Burchett Riddle. She was an administrative assistant in the medical community and attended White’s Chapel Community Church. She spent much of her free time caring for her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, Don Taylor; two children, Ashley Burd and husband John, and Brent Randell Dobbs, all of Glasgow; four grandchildren, Jordan Phillips, Ally Bell, Kylar Dobbs and Brody Dobbs; two great-grandchildren, Kason Hargis and Knox Phillips; two sisters, Margie Lowhorn and Phyllis Ferguson (Tommy); and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Wesley Riddle and J. T. Riddle; and one sister, Jodi Lingo.
Funeral service is at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 29, 2023, at Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home, with burial in Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
