Sherry Davis

Sherry Davis, 61, of Park City died Monday, Aug. 7, 2023, at The Medical Center at Bowling Green.
Ms. Davis enjoyed spending time with her family and particularly her grandchildren. She loved her dogs very much. Her hobbies included coloring and working puzzles, but her favorite pastime was setting up her fairyland in her yard.
She was preceded in death by her father, Vertis Davis, and two sisters, Drinda Davis and Jill Flannery.
She is survived by her mother, Georgia Davis; son, Clayton Davis; daughter, Erica Davis; brother, Marcus Davis; sister, Lynn Vinson; grandchildren, Diara Davis, Dalton Davis, Charolette Simmons and Nova Davis; great-grandchildren, Atticus Davis and Kyson Slagle; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The family plans to have a memorial service at a later date. Hayes Brothers Funeral Home in Glasgow is entrusted with arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested contributions for the service.

Peggy Hayes, 63, of Brownsville died peacefully Monday, Aug. 7, 2023, at Hospice House of Southern Kentucky in Bowling Green. The Barren County native was born Oct. 28, 1959, to the late Roy T. and Georgia Dorothy Crabtree.
Peggy was a former beautician and was of the Christian faith.
She leaves to honor her memory her son, Steven Mouser (Amanda) of Horse Cave; grandchildren, Hayley Milby (Dylan), Kaydence Mouser, Corbin Mouser and Gavin Mouser; a great-grandchild, Addison Milby; brothers, Eddie Crabtree, Jeff Crabtree (Melinda), Joe Crabtree (Daphne) and James Crabtree (Rebecca); and sisters, Helen Burd (Tommy), Shirley Vincent (Clifton), Kathy Thompson (Norvin) and Angie Woolbright (Kerry Norton). Besides her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brother, Frankie Crabtree.
Graveside service at Evergreen Cemetery is to be scheduled later. Visitation is from 3 to 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 11, 2023, at Patton Funeral Home Park City Chapel.

Larry Wayne Railey, 75, of Hiseville died Monday Aug. 7, 2023, at Signature Healthcare of Glasgow. He was born Dec. 14, 1947, to the late Fred and Nellie Virginia Railey.
Survivors include his wife, Patty Clark Railey; one son, Thomas Railey (Kim); two daughters, Virginia Vincent (Steve) and Stacey Schooley (Jay); seven grandchildren, Tyler Vincent, Nick Vincent, Ralee Sturgeon (Justin), Chris Railey (Selena), Megan Railey (Ben), Mason Bennett and Bentley Schooley; one great-grandson, Parker Sturgeon; three sisters, Judy Foster, Yvonne Wood and Terry Head; a special niece, Christy Clark Bourne; amd several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Jerry Railey, and two sisters, Wanda Taylor and Sue Krawcke.
The family honored his wishes to be cremated. A memorial service from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday Aug. 13, 2023, at Hiseville Christian Church Fellowship Hall. Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
