George Daniel Harlow, 76, of Glasgow died Saturday, August 5, 2023 at T.J. Samson Community Hospital.
A native of Barren County, he was a son of the late Hilcie B. Harlow and Alice Houchens Harlow. He was a retired machinist at R.R. Donnelley & Sons, a member of the Baptist faith and a former member of the U.S. Air Force.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley M. Harlow; two daughers, Amanda Burnette and her husband Kevin and Phaedra Pippin and her husband Larry; four grandchildren Garrett Pippin, Colin Pippin, Addizen Pippin and Kiersten Pippin.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, H. David Harlow and Walter M. Harlow.
A private graveside service took place at Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Arrangements were entrusted to Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home.

Jerry Barthel Stockton died peacefully on Wednesday, Aug. 9, 2023, in Glasgow. He was born on Oct. 20, 1946, in Waterview.
Jerry was a devoted father and caring husband who served God and country as he was a passionate preacher and spent more than 20 years in the military. He enjoyed spending his time relaxing by cooking, grilling, traveling and watching sports.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Thelma Jean Stockton; three children, Craig Thomas Stockton, Jerri Da Sha Stockton and Leticia Gayle Stockton (Edward Javon McNebb); four grandchildren, Brittany, Chyrreia, Jadyn and Emma; and two great-grandchildren,Briella and Koloari. In his later years, Jerry was unable to keep up with one of his additional loves, mowing the yard, and this responsibility was taken over by his niece La Kreisa and her husband, Jesse. Jerry is also survived by his sisters, Elaine Frances and Mary Lillian Rhodes, as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Jerry was preceded in death by his father, Benton Barthel Stockton, and his mother, Alsena Ellis Stockton.
A. celebration of life and viewing is from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 15, 2023, at Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home.
