The Glasgow Police Department have had complaints from citizens about receiving information in the mail from the National Police Association located in Stafford, Texas asking for a generous donation of money in return for them providing a Quality of Life Policing Petition to the public officials.
According to GPD Maj. Terry Flatt “The Glasgow Police Department is not affiliated with the National Police Association and does not receive any funding by this organization.”
He stressed that residents should never provide any personal information and should alert authorities when they believe they are being scammed.
