Doris Ann Eatmon, 68, of Bee Spring died Thursday, Sept. 7, 2023, at Genesis Edmonson Center. The Edmonson County native was born Aug. 4, 1955, to Alice Farris McGrew and the late Bert Lee McGrew. She was married to Charles Eatmon Sr. until they were parted by his death March 2, 2020.
Doris worked as a merchandise assistant at Lowes and was a member of Bee Spring Missionary Baptist Church.
Besides her mother, she leaves to honor her memory her daughters, Stephanie Hiser (Scotty) of Park City and Vanessa Mitchell (Mark) of Elizabethtown; stepson, Charles “Chuck” Eatmon Jr. (Monica) of Greensburg; grandchildren, Sara Hiser, Lily Mitchell, Alyssa Eatmon, Bentley Hiser, Ty Eatmon and Poppy Mitchell; and sister, Kathleen Cowan (David) of Bee Spring.
Funeral is at 1 p.m. Monday, Sept. 11, 2023, at Bee Spring Missionary Baptist Church, with interment in Bee Spring Church Cemetery. Visitation is from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday and 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Monday at Patton Funeral Home Brownsville Chapel.

Billy Hugh Honeycutt, 85, of Park City died Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2023, in Brownsville. The Albany native was born Sept. 28, 1937, to the late Oscar and Dorothy Neal Honeycutt.
Billy was an avid farmer. He started working for Strader’s Dairy in Hiseville and milked for numerous dairy farms. He also worked for the Edmonson County Road Department, Barren County Schools and served 18 years in the Kentucky Army National Guard in the 1st Battalion 623rd Field Artillery (Morgan’s Men). He was a member of Cedar Springs United Baptist Church.
He leaves to honor his memory sons, Billy Joe Honeycutt (Tammie) of Cedar Springs, Robert Lee Honeycutt of Hiseville, Johnny Hugh Honeycutt of Hiseville and Cody Honeycutt (Ashley) of Cedar Springs; daughters, Jane Ann Gassaway (Wallace) of Edmonton, Mary Ruth Jessie of Hiseville and Beth Skaggs (Keith) of Park City; 19 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; brother, Wayne Honeycutt of Hiseville; sisters, Mary Johnson of Glasgow, Jane Weaver (Louis) of Greenville and Doris Lawrence (James) of Glasgow; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Edward and Eugene Honeycutt; sisters, Rose Pemberton, Carolyn Hale and Sue Riddle; daughter-in-law, Sherry Honeycutt; and son-in-law, Clint Cook.
Funeral is at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 9, 2023, at Patton Funeral Home Park City Chapel, with interment and graveside military honors by Nesbit Alexander Memorial Post 6937 Veterans of Foreign Wars in Lambert Cemetery. Visitation is from 3 to 7 p.m. Friday and 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Lanelle Lee

Lanelle Lee
Lanelle (Huskisson) Lee, 98, of Fountain Run died Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2023, at T.J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow. Lanelle was born in Barren County on May 15, 1925, a daughter of the late Patrick H. and Annie (Steenbergen) Huskisson. Lanelle was united in marriage to Jesse Elton Lee on Nov. 23, 1942. Elton preceded her in death on March 2, 2017.
Throughout her life she worked at Brown and William Tobacco, Gamaliel Factory, and was a homemaker. She enjoyed quilting. She was a member of Union No. 1 Missionary Baptist Church.
Lanelle is survived by her children, Allen Lee of Scottsville, Eric Lee and wife Donna Haynes of Glasgow, Ann Steenbergen and husband Charlie of Scottsville, Jan Sides of Manito, Illinois, and Marietta Lee of Fountain Run; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
Other than her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by two sons, Jerry and George Michael Lee, and two siblings, Honor Goad and Bessie Mae Wheat.
Funeral service is at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 9, 2023, at Fountain Run Funeral Home with Bro. Terry Dismon officiating and burial in Union No. 1 Cemetery. Visitation is from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Lanelle’s memory may be made to Union No. 1 Cemetery.
