Glasgow News 1
After a long summer of concerts, Entertain Glasgow’s next event is moving in a different direction, more specifically, skyward.
This Saturday marks the third Groove and Glow, taking place at the Glasgow Municipal Airport, and is free to the public. In previous years the event offered free tethered hot air balloon rides, unfortunately this year, these rides will not be a part of the event as waiting times grew far too long. The balloons will still be a centerpiece to the event though, complimented by the music of three different performers.
The first will be Garrett Dearing followed by Justin Cole, both are local artists who’s music centers around country and gospel styles of music. The last performance of the night will be Forever Abby Road who are a Beatles tribute band based out of Nashville.
Entertain Glasgow recommends bringing a blanket or chair to enjoy the evening. Starting at 4 p.m. on Saturday, September 16 the event will be capped off with a firework finale scheduled for 8:30 p.m.
More information about the event can be found on Entertain Glasgow’s website.
