At 5 p.m. the street in front of the theatre was lined with food vendors, including Philly Willys Cheesesteaks and Hog Wild BBQ. Also the ten groups competing in the lip sync battle had tents set up as they waited for the Plaza doors to open at 6:30 p.m. Michael Crimmins/Glasgow News 1.


At the pre-event street party the Hornet’s Nest Pickers performed numerous musical numbers. Michael Crimmins/Glasgow News 1.


The event was co-hosted by Randy Burns, executive director of the mission foundation. At the opening of the competition he performed a lip sync of a Prince song. He joked that he was Randy Burns the artist formerly known as Prince. Michael Crimmins/Glasgow News 1.

First Lip Sync Battle:
Glasgow High School vs. Barren County High School
Winner: Barren County High School

Second Lip Sync Battle:
Glasgow Police Department vs. Glasgow Fire Department
Winner: Glasgow Fire Department

Third Lip Sync Battle:
Extreme Fitness vs. YMCA
Winner: Tie (both declared the winner)

Fourth Lip Sync Battle:
South Central Bank vs. Edmonton State Bank
Winner: Edmonton State Bank

 

Fifth Lip Sync Battle:
T. J. Nursing vs. T. J. Rehab
Winner:T. J. RehabĀ 

Grand Champion: T. J. Rehab
