Frankie Toms
Frankie Toms, 89, of Park City died Monday, Nov. 6, 2023, at The Medical Center at Caverna. Frankie was born in Hart County to the late Ted and Annie Mae Toms on Aug. 10, 1934. At 29 years of age, he was saved while at his workplace in July 1963 and joined Cedar Hill United Baptist Church in August 1964. Frankie served there as a trustee and ordained deacon and also served as church clerk for many years.
Following his retirement from Holley Carburetor after 38 years of employment, he spent many mornings golfing with his friends. He was a veteran, serving in the U.S. Army at Fort Leonard Wood in Missouri and Fort Eustis in Virginia.
He leaves to honor his memory his wife of 68 years, Olive R. Bush Toms; his children, Neal Toms (Jennifer) of Park City and Patricia “Sissie” Jessie (Greg) of Chalybeate; daughter-in-law, Jennifer Ashley Toms; grandchildren, Adam Morgan (Tiffanie), Lauren Bragg (Tyler) and Michael Toms; great-grandchildren, Harrison Bragg, Tenlie Morgan and Palmer Bragg; stepgreat-granddaughter, Britton Jenkins; stepgreat-great-granddaughter, Braelynn Floyd; and sisters-in-law, Cheryl Bush Harlow (Doug) and Muriel Bush.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Philip Allen Toms; brothers, Leroy and Odell Toms; sisters, Maxine Tarter, Imogene Cook and twin sister, Francis Strange; and mother-in-law, Tommie Bush.
Funeral service is at 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 10, 2023, at Patton Funeral Home Park City Chapel, with interment in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation is from 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday and 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Shana and Brooklyn Tooley
Shana Brooke (McClard) Tooley, 32, and her newborn baby, Brooklyn McClard Tooley of Hestand both died Saturday, Nov. 4, 2023, at Monroe County Medical Center.
Shana was born in Glasgow on Nov. 25, 1990, a daughter of Beverly and Don McClard.
On Aug. 20, 2022, she married Dustin Tooley in Temple Hill. Shana graduated from Barren County High School in 2009 and worked as a team lead authorization specialist at T.J. Samson Community Hospital.
Shana and Brooklyn are loved and survived by their husband and father, respectively, Dustin Tooley; parents/ grandparents, Don and Beverly McClard of Glasgow; mother- and father-in-law/grandparents, Jimmy and Tammy Tooley, of Tompkinsville; sister- and brother-in-law, Tara and Coleman Dile; and nieces and nephews/cousins, Brynlee, Baylor and Riggs Dile.
Funeral service is at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 8, 2023, at Yokley-Trible Funeral Home in Tompkinsville, with burial in Monroe County Memorial Lawn. Visitation began Tuesday afternoon and continues from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
