Joseph Marshall Bishop, 44, of Glasgow died Friday, Dec. 1, 2023, at University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington. Born Oct. 19, 1979, in Glasgow, he was the son of Patricia “Tootie” Button Bishop and the late Billy Marshall Bishop.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by two sons, William Connor Marshall Bishop and Warran Lee Dean Bishop; a sister and brother-in-law, Lindsey Bishop Nunn and William Stuart Nunn; his fiancée, Sabrina Jones; three uncles, Danny Bishop, Woody Gardner and Bill Button; and several cousins, a niece, and nephews.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Marshall and Geneva Bishop and Terrell and Jeanette Button; and an aunt, Sandra Bishop Gardner.
Funeral service is at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2023, at Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home, with burial in Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation is from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
