Patty Jean Bailey, 82, of Glasgow died Tuesday, Dec. 26, 2023, at her residence. She was born July 17, 1941, in Glasgow to the late Robert Jones and Erma Nabors Jones. Patty worked in banking most of her life and eventually retired as a branch manager. She loved working on houses and was an incredible decorator. Patty also loved painting, crocheting, landscaping and dogs, especially her late Bailey and her current friend, Rusty. She was formerly a member of Lick Branch Cumberland Presbyterian Church and joined Glasgow Baptist Church in 2014. She was always taking care of people she loved and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Survivors include her loving husband, Marshall Bailey; one son, Mike Steenbergen; one grandchild, Blake Steenbergen (Mary); one great-grandchild, Michael Dean Steenbergen; two stepchildren, Cheryl Page (Ricky) and Joe Donald Dickson (Sheila); five stepgrandchildren, Brittany Pooser (Ben), Whitney McVeigh (Ham), Tommy Dickson (Annie), Andy Dickson (Megan) and Ashley Dickson; and four stepgreat-grandchildren, Jay Henry McVeigh, Tristan Riley Pooser, Oliver Riley Dickson and Simon David Dickson.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one grandchild, Courtney Mae Steenbergen; one stepchild, David Dickson; and one stepgrandchild, Tristan Page.
Funeral service is at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 30, 2023, at Glasgow Baptist Church, with burial in Lick Branch Cemetery. Visitation is from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the church. A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.

Richard Theodore Haggerty Jr., 71, of Glasgow died Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2023, at his residence. He was the son of the late Richard Theodore Haggerty Sr. and Lois Berg Haggerty.
He is survived by his wife, Christina Beth Haggerty; three sons, Richard Theodore Haggerty III, Robert Haggerty (Samantha) and Shawn Haggerty (Angela); three grandchildren, Rinie Smith and Jericho and Josiah Haggerty: three sisters, Patty Dean, Donna Haggerty and Lori Speir; and half-brother, Sonny Prohaska.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two sons, Timothy and Jonathan Haggerty, and one daughter, Kathleen Haggerty.
His family chose cremation, with no services planned at this time. Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
