SCHOOL CLOSINGS: WKU campuses closed Jan. 17, Barren County, Glasgow and Caverna Schools announces NTI day

Because of weather conditions, The Barren County Adult Education center will be closed Wednesday, Jan. 17, according to their Facebook page.

Update as of 2:59 p.m.

According to superintendent Chad Muhlenkamp, Glasgow Independent Schools will be having an NTI day tomorrow, Jan. 17.

As the Glasgow-Barren County Boys and Girls Club follows the district, the organization is closed as well.

Update as of 1:13 p.m. Jan. 16

Caverna Independent Schools announced its second NTI day tomorrow, Jan. 17, due to the inclement weather.

According to a social media post made 24 minutes ago, all Western Kentucky University campuses are closed Jan. 17.

Tomorrow, Jan. 17, will be a Non-Traditional Instruction, or NTI, day for all Barren County students, according to Heather Gardner, district communications officer.

Glasgow and Caverna Independent Schools have not yet made a decision regarding classes tomorrow, nor has Western Kentucky University’s Glasgow campus.
