Because the weather remains frigid and many roads are a mixture of snow and ice, the Glasgow Christian Academy will be closed Jan. 18, according to an email from the school.
The food pantry located at Glasgow First United Methodist Church will be closed Jan. 18 as well, per an announcement in an email.

Due to the ongoing inclement weather Caverna Independent School District has announced it will have its third NTI day Thursday, Jan. 18

Thursday, Jan. 18, will be the second Non-Traditional Instruction, or NTI, day for students in the Barren County School district.
“Due to hazardous road conditions, Thursday, Jan. 18, will be an NTI day for all Barren County students,” Heather Gardner, district communication officer, said via phone. “Teachers will be communicating expectations and assignments and will be available throughout the day to offer assistance.”
