Lena Joyce Bunch, 93, of Glasgow died peacefully Saturday, Feb. 10, 2024, at NHC Healthcare Center. Lena was born Friday, Oct. 17, 1930, to the late Terry and Leona Ellis Polson. She was married to the late Gaylord Jewell Bunch on Oct. 9, 1947.
Lena was saved at an early age and a member of Mt. Pisgah Missionary Baptist Church. In later years of life she attended Grider Memorial Baptist Church.
She is survived by two sons, Danny Bunch (Connie) and Larry Bunch (Linda), both of Glasgow; four grandchildren, Brian Bunch (Marcia) and Mark Bunch, both of Glasgow, Dru Bunch of Cave City and Katie Bunch of Owensboro; two stepgrandchildren, Jessie Barton of Glasgow and Chandra Key of Bowling Green; 11 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Betty Saltsman; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by one son, Jerry Wayne Bunch; one sister, Doris Barrick; and one brother, Charles Polson.
Funeral is at 3 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 15, 2024, at Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home, with burial in Neals Chapel Cemetery. Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Reeda Joyce Greer, 81, of Glasgow died Friday, Feb. 9, 2024, at NHC Healthcare Center. Born in Monticello, she was a daughter of the late Reed Denver Stockton and Billie Perdue Stockton.
Reeda was a graduate of Glasgow High School and attended both Morrison Business School and Western Kentucky University, where she studied real estate. She began her real-estate career in 1975 as an agent and became a licensed real estate broker in 1977. Reeda was owner and principal broker of Coldwell Banker Longhunters Realty until her retirement. She was a member of several clubs and community organizations, including past president of Glasgow-Barren County Chamber of Commerce and Glasgow-Barren County Board of Realtors, where she served for 14 years as director. She had been a member of Glasgow Baptist Church since the age of 11.
Survivors include one daughter, Rhonda Townsend (Charles) of Glasgow; two sons, Michael Ray Elmore (Lisa) of Glasgow and Mark Elmore (Jean) of Bowling Green; eight grandchildren, Dakota Ray Elmore (Mandy), Ashton E. Mattingly (Jared), Morgan Elmore Geiger (Wick), Owen Margaret Townsend Kruse (Augie), Charles Oliver Townsend, Micha Elmore Thomas (Jake), Lauren Carroll and Lindsey Carroll; one sister, Susan Pursley (Benny) of Glasgow; one brother, Dennis R. Stockton (Jackye) of Frankfort; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry W. Greer, and one sister, Donna Stockton-Early of Frankfort.
Funeral service is at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 14, 2024, at Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home, with burial in Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation is from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Gloria Pearson
Gloria Jean Pearson, a loving mother and grandmother, died Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2024, at Belmont Health and Rehabilitation in Columbus, Indiana. She was born Dec. 18, 1942, in Edmonson County and was the daughter of Anita (Steen) Gentry and James Gentry.
As a graduate of Valley High School in Jefferson County, Gloria was employed by various companies, most notably RCA Bloomington, Thermogas Propane, Pearson Insurance Agency, Indiana University Linguistics Department and Jefferson County School Corp. in Louisville.
Throughout the years, Gloria demonstrated her boundless love for family by being a constant presence at her children’s and grandchildren’s sports events, graduations and other milestones. Her unwavering support and enthusiastic attendance reflected the depth of her commitment to those she cherished most.
Her passing leaves a void that will be deeply felt, but her memory will live on in the hearts of her family members who were fortunate enough to share in her love and presence.
Gloria’s memory will be cherished by her sons, Richard Pearson and Bryan Pearson; grandchildren, Lindsay Cook, Madissen Pearson and Matthew Pearson; and great-grandchild, Asher Cook.
A celebration of her life is at 1 pm Thursday, Feb. 15, 2024, at Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home, with burial in Cave City Cemetery. Visitation is from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Martha Wagner, 95, of Glasgow died Friday, Feb. 9, 2024, at T.J. Samson Community Hospital. She was born Dec. 9, 1928, in Detroit, Michigan, to the late Thomas E. Fields and the late Evelyn (Howton) Fields.
Martha was a devoted wife and mother and spent many years as an optometric assistant to her husband, optometrist Max Wagner, who preceded her in death. Martha was a member of Columbia Avenue Church of Christ (now Avenue Church). She dearly loved her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include one son, Ronald T. Wagner (Eva); one daughter, Karen Gail Himelrick (James Edward); five grandchildren, Jeffery T. Wagner (Reneé), Gregory B. Wagner (Bonnie), Kari Cherie Smith (Jason), James Tadd Himelrick (Candice) and Briana Gail Bishop (Matt); 12 great-grandchildren, Éowyn Wagner, Redding Wagner, Hayden Smith, Elly Kate Smith, Kynley Himelrick, Sadie Himelrick, Rynn Himelrick, Luke Himelrick, Levi Himelrick, Parker Bishop, Claria Gail Bishop and Eliza Bishop. She is also survived by many friends and caregivers who loved her dearly.
Service is at 2 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2024, at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home, with burial in Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday and continues Tuesday morning until time for the service at the funeral home.
