William Ross “Billy” Buster, 76, of Glasgow died Monday, Feb 13, 2024, at Metcalfe Nursing Home. Billy was born Sept. 15, 1947, at T.J. Samson Community Hospital to the late William Thomas Buster and late Mattie B. McCoy Buster. He graduated from Glasgow High School in 1965 and was the drummer for the Glasgow High Scottie Band. He will also be remembered by friends and classmates as one of the founding members of Us Inc. Music was his passion and so many will remember their music throughout Kentucky. Billy was a graduate of Western Kentucky University. He moved to Owensboro and became the industrial arts teacher at Daviess County Schools for many years before he retired.
Billy married Mary Jane Buster on Nov. 22, 2008. After retirement, Billy moved back to his hometown and back to his family home on Columbia Avenue in Glasgow. He also enjoyed wintering in Fort Myers, where he loved sitting on the beach and enjoying the community.
Billy is survived by his two aunts, stepchildren, numerous cousins, band members of Us Inc.. and two caregivers.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Jane Buster.
The family has honored Billy’s wishes for cremation and plan to have a memorial service in his honor later. A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.

Dorothy Foley

Dorothy Ann Foley, 77, of Cave City died Thursday, Feb. 15, 2024, at T.J. Samson Community Hospital. She was born Oct. 30, 1946, in Middlebury Vermont, to the late Stowell R. Fenn and the late Della (Willis) Fenn. Dorothy worked as an information tech for B.F. Goodrich.
Survivors include one daughter, Lynda Foley; one son, Paul Foley; four siblings, Sharon Holguin, Ronald Finn (Susan), Patricia Clark (Butch) and Ellen Smith (Michael); and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Connie Mason.
Dorothy’s wishes were honored and cremation was chosen. A memorial service is at 10 a.m. March 2, 2024, at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home, with burial in Park City Cemetery. Visitation is from 9 to 10 a.m. March 2 at the funeral home.

Sandra Faye Gibson, 66, of Glasgow died Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2024, at T.J. Samson Community Hospital. She was born Dec. 29, 1957, in Pensacola, Florida, to the late Otis Gibson and the late Juanita (Pritchett) Gibson. She was a member of the Poarch Band of Creek Indians.
She was a loving mother who cherished her children, grandbabies and the rest of her family. She adored her plants and birdwatching out her window. She also loved cookies and she wanted them now! She was a joy to be around, she loved to laugh and she would never let you win at a hand of cards. She loved to have her nails polished, have jewelry on and be wearing a thick pair of chanclas. She was the glue that held the family together. Sandra was resilient, feisty and defied all odds. She was selfless, empathetic and a peacemaker and would help anyone who needed her.
Survivors include her six children, Rhonda Valenzuella,Jacob Valenzuella, Shyla Drake, Eli Drake, Clara Ashby and Jessica Gibson; eight grandchildren, Rhianna Salgado, Raya Salgado, Cairi Stratton, Kayden Ashby, Oakley Ashby, James Stratton, Blake Ashby and Topaz “Sky” Hinds; siblings, Otis “Clay” Gibson and Joseph Gibson; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Jenell Gibson and Kathleen “Kathy” Gibson; brother, Andrew “Len” Gibson; and son, Justin Valenzuella.
Her family has chosen to honor her wishes of cremation and intends to have a memorial service later. A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.
