In recognition of National Future Farmers of America, or FFA, week, which is Feb. 17-24, Glasgow Mayor Henry Royse accompanied Barren County Judge-Executive Jamie Bewley Byrd went to Barren County High School on Feb. 20 to sign a formal proclamation surrounded by members of the local chapter. The local chapter has roughly 325 members, all of whom are part of the school's agriculture program. Byrd said the organization's motto "Learning to Do, Doing to Learn, Earning to Live, Living to Serve" is exemplified in the county's local chapter. Michael Crimmins/Glasgow News 1.
