Adeline Napper

Adeline Napper, 85, of Glasgow died Friday, Feb. 23, 2024, at her residence. Born Nov. 29, 1938, a daughter of the late Lonnie and Dorthea Brooks Napper.
She is survived by one daughter, Tara Glifort (Mark); two grandchildren, Lindsay Vest and Jonathan Vest (Meghan); one great-grandson, Jackson Vest; two stepgreat-grandchildren, Adaiden Wayne and Mason Aherton; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Benl Napper and Kenny Napper; and three sisters, Emily Bland, Connie Nick and Joann Summers.
Memorial service is at 5 p.m. Friday, March 1, 2024, at Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home. Visitation is from 3 to 5 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Harrison Dee “KY” Satterly, 91, of Glasgow died Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2024, at Shanti Niketan Hospice Home in Glasgow. He was born Aug. 21, 1932, in Anderson County, a son of the late Orthey Edgar and Vila Faye (Corn) Satterly. Harrison began his electrical career in Indiana and, in 1967, he was employed at the Glasgow Electric Plant Board, rising to management level as operations superintendent. After retirement he enjoyed farming and raising cattle. He was a beloved member of First Free Will Baptist Church, where he served as a Sunday school teacher and in the bus ministry, which brought him great joy and fulfillment. He was a kind and gentle man whose faith guided him and whose love was embedded in his love of Jesus. His family members are grateful recipients of his love and loyalty.
Harrison is survived by his nine children, Jeffrey Satterly of Winchester, Virginia; Vila Kay (Ken) Daniel of Paducah; Tammy Satterly of Paducah; Donna Satterly of Caro, Michigan; Donald (Sherry) Jones of Glasgow; Charlie Jones (Vickie); Michael Satterly of Horse Cave; Melissa (Tim) Perkins of Summer Shade and Hellen (Keith) Sherfey of Glasgow; 20 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Including his parents, Harrison was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Betty J. Satterly; daughter, Jennifer K. Jones; siblings, Beulah Mae Satterly Cook of Bloomfield, James Truman Satterly of Scottsburg, Indiana, Wesley Gilbert Satterly of Louisville, and Marcella Faye Satterly Hood of Bloomfield; and nephew Blane E. Cook of Lawrenceburg.
Funeral is at 1 p.m. Monday, Feb. 26, 2024, at Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home, with burial in Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation is from 3 to 8 p.m. Sunday and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
The family wishes to thank the staff, nurses and doctors at T.J. Samson Community Hospital and Shanti Niketan Hospice Home for their thoughtful care. Wanda Jean Wooten, 77, of Glasgow died Friday, Feb. 23, 2024, at T.J. Samson Community Hospital surrounded by her family. Born March 21, 1946, she was a daughter of the late William Basil Clark and Mary Edna Turner Clark.
She is survived by six children, Edith Gail Webb (Charles), Billy Ray Wooten, Jeffrey Neal Wooten (Donna), James Wooten, Kimberly Marie Jackson (Ronnie) and Melissa Dawn Smith (Hurley); nine grandchildren, Preston Wooten, Catlin Brook Carter, Christopher Glen Wooten, Rebekah Leann Wooten, Matthew Aaron Jackson, Brittany Renee Hogan, Rachael Heggerich, Savannah Shey Wooten and Olivia Grace Smith; four great-grandchildren, Desmond Ray Wooten, Elliott Wooten, Charlie Wooten and Hudson Poe; personal special mention, Ashley Brown; one brother, William Basil Clark Jr.; and one sister, Mary Lois Reece.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Brenda Joyce Nunn.
Funeral is at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2024, at Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home, with burial in Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
