Meet Cole Gregory, an eighth grader at Barren County Middle. He serves on the middle school student council, and as a council member, he most enjoys coming together with other students to talk about what they can do to support the positive climate and culture of BCMS. This year, they began a kindness program, and Cole is doing his part. He and his buddy Miles stood out on the front porch on a cold morning to greet students as they entered the building. By the time they finished, Cole’s fingers were numb.
Outside of school, Cole is an avid gamer, and the first game he ever played was Pokemon Moon; it’s still one of his favorites. He also enjoys reading comics (his favorite book series is Fazbear Frights) and watching Marvel movies (Venom and Deadpool are his favorite characters).
Kindness and a sense of humor are the traits he most values in his teachers. He looks up to his father, literally (he’s a really tall guy) and figuratively (he’s one of the wisest people Cole knows). He isn’t quite sure what he wants to do in the future, but he knows he wants to follow in his parents’ footsteps; they have always worked hard to support the family. Whatever he decides to do, Cole is sure to bring a bright mind and kind heart to the table.
