James Adams
James Arthur Adams, 60, of Glasgow died peacefully at his residence surrounded by his family, Friday, April 26, 2024. James was born on June 4, 1963, to the late Arthur Adams and the late Edith Meeks Walthal. James spent his career working at Country Oven Bakery, from which he retired. He was a proud member of the Austin Masonic Lodge 847. James loved a good cookout, horseback riding, carving, wooden spoons, camping, hunting, fishing, playing music, and just hanging out with friends and family.
James is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Mandy Adams; three sons, James Anthony Adams (Valerie), James Derek Adams (Kali) and Justin Blane Adams (Kristin); a nephew he loved as a son, Jon Washer (Mandi); grandchildren, Tyler Adams (Rachel), Kenzie Adams, Kole Adams, Karissa Adams, Aden Adams, Adysen Adams and Jayden Adams; sisters, Gleda Temples (Larry), Jeanie Adams and Claire Adams; half sister, Carmen Hodge; stepsisters, Jerry Purkerson and Lora Brumley (Rob); and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by his brother, George Washer.
Funeral service is at 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 1, 2024, at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home, with burial in Martinsville Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and continues Wednesday morning until 1 p.m. at the funeral home.

Linda Davis Pedigo, 72, of Cave City died at her residence on Thursday, April 25, 2024. The Barren County native was born Dec. 6, 1951, to the late Bill and Beulah Young Davis.
She leaves to honor her memory her son, Chris Edwards; stepchildren, Johnny Pedigo (Tammy), Julie Goldsmith (Thomas) and Elizabeth Jerns; several grandchildren; and her brother, Robert Davis.
Besides her parents, she was also preceded in death by her son, Gary Pedigo.
No services are scheduled. Arrangements are entrusted to Patton Funeral Home Cave City Chapel.
