Betty Jean Brinkerhoff, 64, of Glasgow died Sunday, April, 28, 2024, suddenly at her residence. She was born Jan. 28, 1960, in Campbellsville to the Late Bobby Joe and Loretta Wethington Ford. Betty retired from Barren County Public Schools in food services. She loved her flowers and loved springtime. Spring to her was a fresh new start for her to get her hands in the dirt and work in her yard. Betty will be missed by all.
Survivors include her loving husband, James (Jim) Brinkerhoff; her little dog, Gibson; two daughters, Adrienne Degott (Hunter) of Glasgow and Rita Peterson (Bryan) also of Glasgow; four grandchildren, Aubry Degott-Smith, Ada Smith and Gage and Deegan Peterson. Betty was the third of seven children, with five siblings surviving, Bobby Dean Ford (Sheila) of Liberty, Tony Allen Ford (Leisha) of Stoner Creek, Brandon Joe Ford (Brittany) of Columbia, Laura Ann Young of Horse Branch, and Debra Sue Saltsman (Larry) of Vine Grove. Other survivors include her sister in-law, Carolyn Ford of Elkhorn; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her beloved brother, Ricky Joe Ford, on Jan. 29, 2022.
Betty’s wishes were to be cremated. A celebration of Betty’s life is to be scheduled later, with a tree planted in her memory. Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Bonnie Bennett Trabue, 71, of Glasgow died peacefully Monday, April 29, 2024, at Shanti Niketan Hospice Home in Glasgow. A native of Barren County, she was a daughter of the late Marvin Jewell Bennett and Anna Laura Clayton Bennett.
Bonnie was a 1970 graduate of Park City High School, after which she attended Western Kentucky University, where she obtained her bachelor’s, master’s, and Rank I degrees. She was a retired educator, having taught at Red Cross Elementary School for 34 years. After retirement, she spent much of her time helping care for her grandchildren, who knew her as “B.B.’ – an activity she dearly loved. Bonnie was an active member of First Christian Church where she also had taught Sunday school, helped extensively with youth activities, and participated in the sewing, quilting, and bereavement meal planning ministries of the church.
Survivors include her husband, Bruce Allen Trabue; three daughters, Amanda Trabue and husband Ike Brodofsky of Nashville, Tennessee, Laura Leigh Reed and husband John of Park City, and Emily Scott and husband Jake of Glasgow; four grandchildren, Addisen and Cooper Reed and Josey and Lizzy Scott; one sister, Elsie Slaughter of Frankfort; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Gary Joe Bennett.
The family thanks the members of T.J. Samson Home Health Team, Palliative Care Team, and Hospice Team for their excellent care.
Family members are having a private service. A celebration of Bonnie’s life is at 3 p.m. Sunday, May 19, 2024, at First Christian Church. Arrangements are entrusted to Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to First Christian Church or to the Bonnie Trabue Scholarship Fund at Western Kentucky University.

Ryneisha Montraile Whitlow, 29, of Glasgow died Thursday, April 25, 2024, at her residence. She was born July 12, 1994, in Glasgow to Carl Hunter and Rosalind Whitlow Hunter. Ryneisha enjoyed coloring and loved her daughter, Remi, more than anything. She was a member of Harlow’s Chapel Baptist Church and will be missed dearly by all her friends and family.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her daughter, Remi Ky’Ann Connors; two sisters, Karlea’ Whitlow and Raven Whitlow; her maternal grandparents, Jimmy and Sybil Wilson; three aunts, Denise Stockton, Carlotta Hunter and Stella Rowe Hunter; seven uncles, Lance Wilson (Hilliary), Victor Hunter (Tiffany), Ronnie Whitlow (Denise), Fay Neal Jr. (Sonya), Robert Whitlow, Glen Hines and John Brown; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Marjorie Hunter; two aunts, Katie Barlow and Connie Hines; and one uncle, Robert Hunter.
Funeral service is at 1 p.m. Friday, May 3, 2024, at First Baptist Church, with burial in Barlow Cemetery. Visitation is from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at the church. A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.
