Louisville Orchestra to grace Glasgow in July

The Louisville Orchestra will return to Glasgow on Wednesday, July 10 with the “In Harmony Commonwealth Tour”.  This free event will take place at 7:30 p.m.

This concert event will be a symphonic celebration for many communities across Kentucky, blending old and new concepts.

Led by the dynamic Teddy Abrams, this tour features a program that blends the vibrancy of classical masterpieces with soulful pop hits, promising a series of performances that resonate with audiences of all tastes.

The performance begin with Leonard Bernstein’s energetic “Three Dance Episodes from On the Town,” and dive into the profound depths of Dvorak’s Symphony No.9. Revel in soul-stirring renditions of classics by Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder, and Lionel Richie, performed by the incredible vocalists Jason Clayborn and Daria Raymore.

Each concert promises to be a unique fusion of classical virtuosity and timeless soul, featuring hits like “Endless Love,” “It’s A Man’s World,” and “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough.”
