Betty Carol Pendleton, 81, of Glasgow, Kentucky died Sunday, June 30, 2024. Betty was born January 27, 1943 in Akersville, Kentucky to the late Boyd and Elaine Manion. She loved working on her farm with her husband, playing the piano, cooking, and taking care of her grandchildren. Betty was a member of Temple Hill Baptist Church, where she used to play the piano and organ.
Betty is survived by her husband of 63 years, Lenny Pendleton. She has two daughters she loved very much, Sherri Pendleton Davis (Timmy) and Leigh Anne Pendleton Brown (Sammy). Sherri and Timmy preceded her in death in 2015 and 2016. Betty has four grandchildren that were the center of her world, Luke Davis, Katie Davis, Ben Gassaway, and T. J. Coffey (David). She also has two great grandchildren, Laykin and Myla Coffey, a bonus daughter, Melinda Pickett, who was just like her own, two brothers, Jimmy Manion (Carol) and Benny Manion (Vickie), five nieces and nephews, Susan Blevins Manion, Tim Manion, Casey Manion Edwards (Cory), Whitney Manion Wilhelm (Paul), and the late Chris Manion.
The funeral service for Mrs. Pendleton will be held 3:00 p.m. Friday, July 5 at A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery.
