Green Mechanical Construction, Inc. (GMCI) is pleased to announce the successful acquisition of HVAC Services, Inc., a prominent leader in the residential and commercial HVAC industry across south central Kentucky.
The transaction was finalized on June 30, 2024. The companies share common ownership, with GMCI’s majority shareholder, Don Baker, who was also the sole owner of HVAC Services.
This strategic merger unites two well-established forces within their respective markets. Meanwhile, Green Mechanical has built a strong presence as one of the premier design-build mechanical contractors in the southeastern United States. Both companies bring a wealth of experience and a commitment to excellence to this new chapter.

Their team members are the best of the best when it comes to delivering for their customers. Bringing them into the GMCI family will help both organizations become even more formidable through shared resources and vision. We have been working towards this for quite some time and both companies have exciting things ahead.”
With this acquisition, GMCI reinforces its commitment to growth and excellence, expanding its reach and capabilities to better serve a diverse range of customers. As both companies integrate their operations, they will leverage their combined strengths to continue delivering top-tier mechanical and HVAC services across their markets.
