GALLERY: Sasquatch sightings and smiles at Park City’s Bigfoot Festival

The year-long amount of work put into preparing for the festival paid off as hundreds of attendees were present on Saturday. While most were locals, several Bigfoot enthusiasts came from Ohio, and even a couple made the trip from Iowa. Gage Wilson/for Glasgow News 1.

A highlight of the event were talks by experts Amy Bue and Adam Davies who boast years of experience in their research. Both shared personal stories of their adventures, as well as methods used in their search for the illusive creature. Gage Wilson/for Glasgow News 1.

Along with the vendors, three food trucks were set up, as well as a sweets booth, which made “Bigfoot approved” cotton candy. Gage Wilson/for Glasgow News 1.

Many attendees used the opportunity to show off their four-legged friends as well. Unfortunately, dogs were not allowed to enter into the “bigfoot howl” competition, due to their unfair advantage. Gage Wilson/for Glasgow News 1.
