Danny Webb
Danny Warren Webb, 76, of Cave City, Kentucky passed away Sunday, October 20, 2024. He was born April 25, 1948 in Hart County, Kentucky to the late Rev. J.W. Webb and Ella Webb. Before retiring, Danny worked as a Regional Manager at Woodmen Life Insurance for over 30 years. He was a United States Navy veteran and served on the USS Independence during the Vietnam War. Danny was a devoted man of God and a longtime member of East Willow Church of God, where he taught Sunday School class. He was an evangelist, missionary, Bishop and the Tennessee State Overseer for the Church of God organization. He was an avid bird hunter and a farmer. Everyone who knew him, loved him. He was kind, courageous, generous, loving, and above all else, selfless. He will be dearly missed.
Survivors include his loving wife of 54 years, Sharon Webb; one son, Chris Webb (Paula) of Arizona; three granddaughters, Erica Harper, Emily Webb of Tennessee, Edy Webb of Arizona; one brother, Mike Webb (Brenda) of Kansas; special friends, Mike Hubbard (Sheri); and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Patsy Webb and one brother, Larry Webb.
The funeral service for Mr. Webb will be 1 p.m. Saturday, October 26th at East Willow Church of God with burial in the Hiseville Cemetery. Military Honors will be provided by DAV Chapter #20. Visitation will be on Friday from noon until 8 p.m. at A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home and on Saturday from 9 a.m. until time for the service at the church.
