The Glasgow Police Department has announced some locations for planned checkpoints throughout November.
Safety checkpoints will be, but not limited to, Columbia Avenue, West Main Street, U.S. 31-E north and Happy Valley Road, the police department stated in a press release. Checkpoints will be conducted beginning Nov. 2 through Nov. 30 in the city’s limits.
“During the safety checkpoints officers will be enforcing laws related to operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of drugs or alcohol, licensing of motor vehicles and operators, registration and insurance violations, seat belt and child restraint violations, and motor vehicle equipment violations,” the release stated.
