Mary Wood Weldon Memorial Library, with the partnership of South Central Rural Telecommunications Cooperative, will be offering people a digital literacy class.

“Today’s society relies heavily on technology, and we know there can be a wide range of questions,” SCRTC Data and Business Supervisor Ryan Pace said. “Our SCRTC technology professionals are well equipped to answer questions in this area.”

The class, which will specialize in Windows 11, is on Nov. 14 at 10 a.m. and registration for this class is open on the library’s website. Registration is open to the public and people can bring their personal laptops “or simply come and learn.”

“The Weldon Memorial Library is a vibrant and healthy library with excellent community outreach,” Christian Kaumanns, SCRTC marketing director, said. “We are proud of this partnership.”

Refreshments will be provided at the event.
