Doris Reed
Doris Reed, age 74, of Hardyville, KY, passed away Saturday, November 30, 2024 at NHC in Glasgow, Kentucky. She was a member of Bearwallow Baptist Church where she sang in the choir and was involved in missionary work.
She was the daughter of the late James Green and the late Mary Kathleen Green.
She was preceded in death by her three brothers, Glenn Roy Greene, James Allen Green, and Michael Earl Green; her two sisters, Dorothy Mae Hodge and Connie Jordan.
She is survived by her husband, Charlie Earl Reed of Glasgow, KY; three sisters, Joyce Masden of Louisville, KY, Martha Green of Cincinnati, OH, and Betty Queen Barlow of Radcliff, KY; two brothers, Carl Greene and his wife Mary of Cave City, KY, and William Green of Louisville, KY; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and other extended family also survive.
The family will receive friends from 9 until 11 a.m. Thursday, December 5, 2024 at Brooks Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, December 5, 2024, at Brooks Funeral Home with Rev. David Green officiating and Rev. Shane Stockton as the Master of Ceremony. Burial will follow in the Bearwallow Baptist Church Cemetery.
