Barren County Schools announced that Jan. 7 will be the district’s first Non-Traditional Instruction day citing backroad conditions.
“Teachers will be reaching out to communicate specific expectations, and they will be available throughout the day to provide support and answer any questions,” the release states. “Please reach out if your child/student needs assistance.”

Western Kentucky University announced that all campuses will be closed Tuesday, Jan. 7.
However, online classes will continue as planned.
