Hometown Showdown returns to Glasgow’s Plaza Theatre

On Jan. 11, the T.J. Community Mission Foundation will host Hometown Showdown, The Sequel at the Plaza Theatre.

The lip-sync event will feature four battles with Highland Elementary and North Jackson Elementary, SCRTC and Riley Dental Group, Glasgow’s Department of Public Works and Parks and Recreation Department, and T.J. Regional Health Rehabilitation and the hospital’s pharmacy facing off in head-to-head battles.

Tickets for the event are on sale at the Plaza Theatre website for $40 and proceeds from the sales go towards the foundation. Last year, at the inaugural Hometown Showdown, raised $45,170.
