Kennedy Edward Martin, 36 of Cave City, Kentucky passed away peacefully on Monday, February 3, 2025, at his residence.
Kennedy was a member of Owens Chapel Missionary Baptist Church. Kennedy enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing basketball.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Priscilla Martin; paternal grandfather, Rev. Lester Martin; maternal grandfather, James Crain; maternal grandmother, Mae Olla Crain; four aunts, Muriel Martin, Ruby Crain, Faye Crain and Vanessa Crain; three uncles, Mickey Jo Crain, Nathaniel Martin and Clarence Crain.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his father, King Edward Martin; a brother, Lorenzo Travis Martin; his grandmother, Geneva Martin; three nephews, Tyson Martin, Kenyon Martin and Titan Martin; two nieces, Za’hari Martin and Zy’eemah Martin; his companion, Jennifer Jones; step-children, Slade Jones, Austin Jones and Cody Jones; three uncles, Larry Crain (Doris), Robert Crain and Felix Martin (Crystal); one aunt, Stephanie Martin; great aunt, Crystal Vaughn; special cousin, Dewayne Martin and Lorenzo Jones; his two fur babies, Lukey and Browine and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services will be Monday, February 10, 2025, at Owens Chapel Baptist Church with Dr. E.A. Duke officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Oak Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Monday, February 10, 2025, at the Church.
