Tommy Lane Compton, 65, of Eighty Eight, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at T. J. Samson Community Hospital. He was a son of the late James “Pen” Compton and Dessie Louise Compton Dile. He was a veteran and a Deputy Sheriff with Barren County Sheriff’s Office.
He is survived by his wife: Natalie J. Compton; three sons: James Compton, Jonathan Lane Compton (Gayla) and Geoffrey Compton (Sandra); eleven grandchildren: Autumn Knight, Abigail Feese, Keelin Reynolds, Carson Long, Claire Long, Hunter Compton, Micah Compton, Jozalin Compton, Grayson Compton, Leah Compton and Dylan Compton; one great-grandson: Justin Chapman; three brothers: Jimmy K. Dile (Jennifer), Kevin Dile (Arlene) and Stevie Dile; one sisters: Kathy Harper (Chris); step-father: Jimmy Dile; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by one brother: Kim Dile; one sister: Shelia Hardin.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Monday, February 10, 2025 at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central 2501 N. Dixie Blvd, Fort Knox, KY at 2:30 eastern / 1:30 central. Visitation will be Sunday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. and after 8 a.m. Monday until time for services.
