The Glasgow Electric Plant Board and the Glasgow Water Company recently received liability grants from the Kentucky League of Cities, according to a press release.
J.D. Chaney, executive director and CEO of Kentucky League of Cities, stated in the press release that helping utility companies “reduce their liability is a key goal” of the agency.
“These grants are just one way we work to support our mission and the many people our members serve,” Chaney said.
Kentucky League of Cities has awarded more than $6.5 million to its members since 1999, “to help fund initiatives to reduce liability for its members,” according to the press release.
