Jeffrey Alan Jones, 57, Hiseville, passed away Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at the T J Samson Community Hospital. A native of Barren County, he was the son of William and Diana Brown Jones of Hiseville.
Jeff was reared on a family farm and has been involved with farming most all of his life. He was a graduate of Barren County High School and held a Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture from Western Kentucky University. He greatly enjoyed showing Brown Swiss Cattle in competitions and was a member of the Brown Swiss Association. He was also a member of the Hiseville Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents William and Diana Jones, he is survived by two daughters: Ella Cathryn Jones of Glasgow and Emily Caroline Jones of Lexington; the mother of his children, Tammy Murrey (John) of Glasgow; four brothers: Doug Jones (Genelle) of Temple Hill, Chad Jones and Adam Jones of Hiseville, Josh Jones (Natasha) of Edmonton; five nieces and nephews: Ally, Jagger, Hadleigh, Ezra, and Kenna Jones; two uncles: Mike Brown of Angleton, Texas and Tony Brown of Glasgow.
Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. Sunday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Hiseville Cemetery. Visitation will be after 4:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
