Mrs. Teresa Kaye (Long) Copas, age 53, of Tompkinsville, Kentucky passed away on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at Shanti Niketan Hospice House in Glasgow, Kentucky. Teresa was born in Monroe County on May 21, 1971, a daughter of the late Darrell Lee and Leona Gayle (Walker) Long. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist Faith.
She is survived by her husband of twenty-nine years; Chris Copas, two daughters; Brittany Williams and husband Joe, and Melissa Lile and husband Tony, one son Robert Myers. Two sisters; Kristie Long and Misty Dodson and husband Chase, eighteen grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren also survive.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her mother and father-in-law; Jimmy and Mary Copas, and one sister-in-law Angela Watson.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, March 14, 2025, from Bartley & Sons Funeral Home in Tompkinsville, with burial to follow in the Brown Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Friday after 10:00 a.m. until the service time of 1:00 p.m. at Bartley & Sons Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to assist with final expenses. Those may be made at the Funeral Home.
