Change orders lead the March 13 Barren County School Board of Education’s agenda.

The five board members, and Superintendent Amy Irwin, are scheduled to meet tonight in the district’s central office at 5:30 p.m. In addition to the multiple “consent items” featured in the 2-page agenda are three change orders; all of which are additional costs for the “Barren County Various Projects.”

The first is “costs associated with adding five removable pipe bollards” in the Career and Technical Education building parking lot at a cost of $6,289.45. The other change order is for $581.12 and involves changing light fixtures. The last has a price tag of $1,904.33 and is due to adding a circuit to a water cooler in the agriculture hallway.

The agenda also features a potential approval of the purchase of “telescopic seating” from Toadvine Enterprises, which is a sports equipment seller based in Fisherville, Kentucky.

The full agenda can be viewed here.
